CRNO Lamination
Cold-rolled non-grain-oriented steel is used in the stators and rotors of electric motors and generators of different capacity, and in ballast transformers, Induction furnaces, and other electrical equipment. It is produced in different alloying groups.
Our products range from non-alloyed silicon-free to high-alloyed non-grain oriented steel, to fully-processed or semi-processed standards. Up to 1,200mm wide, it ranges from 0.25mm to 0.50 mm in thickness.

Silicon steel/electrical steel, usually referring to cold rolled silicon steel/electrical steel, can be divided into two major categories including grain oriented silicon steel/electrical steel and non-oriented silicon steel/electrical steel. Grain oriented silicon steel/electrical steel, with its easy magnetization direction parallel to the rolling direction, has excellent magnetic properties in this direction including low core loss, high permeability and low magnetostriction and is widely used in the transformer industry. Further it can obtain lower core loss by domain refinement treatment. Meanwhile non-oriented silicon steel/electrical steel, featured by random distribution of grain orientation and magnetic isotropy, is widely applicable to the motor industry.
